Great Day Trip from Brasilia

Alberto was a fantastic guide. His English was great and he even personalized the tour based on our interests. This was our only chance to visit a colonial town in Brazil. Easy day trip from Brasilia. Highly recommend

Our tour guide Alberto made our trip the amazing experience it was! He was very informed on everything and shared good information. He was also a great driver and we felt safe the entire time. This tour was very pretty and worth the time!

A great day trip into the mountains! After driving out of the city, we stopped along the way to Pirenopolis at the National-Geographic-recommended Salto Corumbá waterfall, with a short hike there and back (about 30 mins total). Bring a swimsuit and towel if you want to swim (though the water is cold and I didn't see anywhere by the falls to change). Then a delicious buffet lunch in Pirenopolis with the best grilled meats I've had in a while! In the afternoon we walked around Pirenopolis, looking at the shops and art--including local beer.

Alberto is an excellent tour guide. He is a teacher of both Portuguese and English and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of not only Pirenopolis, but also the entire area surrounding it including the Federal District. He takes you to all the interesting sites in Pirenopolis and to a wonderful restaurant for a delicious lunch. Plus, he is a careful, attentive driver. You will have a great experience with Alberto!
