  • The Independence Palace

    The palace is like a time capsule frozen in 1975. You can see two of the original tanks used in the capture of the palace parked in the grounds. Independence Palace was the home and workplace of the French Governor of Cochin-China. It has lush gardens, secret rooms, antique furniture, and a command bunker. It's still in use to host important occasions in Ho Chi Minh, including APEC summits.

    A must see in Saigon: The building was designed by Alfred Foulhoux and features arched windows and wooden shutters, just as it would have in its heyday in the late 19th Century.

  • Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral

    A must see in Saigon: Located in Paris Square, the name Notre Dame was given after the installation of the statue ‘Peaceful Notre Dame’ in 1959. In 1962, the Vatican conferred the Cathedral status as a basilica and gave it the official name of Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica.

    You will find this pagoda in District 1 one of the oldest pagoda in Saigon, which is roughly a ten minute drive from the city centre.

  • Ben Thanh Market

    Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1 is a great place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, Vietnamese art and other souvenirs. Here, you’ll find eating stalls inside the market where you can get a taste of hawker-style Vietnamese cuisine or simply cool off with a cold drink when the bargaining becomes too much. The market is big, difficult to navigate at times and certainly best avoided during the hottest part of the day but all the same its well worth a look.

  • War Remnants Museum

    A must see in Saigon: The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City first opened to the public in 1975. Once known as the ‘Museum of American War Crimes’, it's a shocking reminder of the long and brutal Vietnam War. Graphic photographs and American military equipment are on display. There's a helicopter with rocket launchers, a tank, a fighter plane, a single-seater attack aircraft. You can also see a conventional bomb that weighs at 6,800kg. American troops had used these weapons against the Vietnamese between 1945 and 1975.

Phu My Shore Excursion- Saigon (Ho Chi Minh)

Our shore excursion to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) was a wonderful experience. We met our guide Lynn (nick name Penny) at port gate. She was young, yet very knowledgeable of the Vietnamese people, culture and way of life. Her English was good and she was eager and jubilant. Took us to numerous locations, some off the beaten path which allowed us to mingle with the locals. Wonderful experience with Vietnamese people who were still celebrating the Lunar year. Our tour was in a very comfortable mini van and we tip our hat to our driver. How they navigate the streets is an experience all on its own. As a shore excursion, they made sure we were back at cruise terminal on time. Great time had by our group of four.

Amazing Saigon

We were picked up at the port by Lee and our driver and taken on an amazing tour around Saigon. We got to see the sites before all the big buses showed up. Lee was very informative and had such pride in his country. He was an absolute pleasure to be with for the tour.

We had an amazing tour with Linh! She shared so much knowledge with us as she took us all around Saigon! Since I was traveling with my mother on a private tour, they were able to customize our tour to exactly what we wanted’ furthermore, we changed our minds last minute to go to Saigon instead of the Mekong Delta because the drive was far and we didn’t have the time, so Henry from the sales department was easy to get in touch with and helped to rearrange our trip for us right before! We really had an amazing experience and highly recommend this tour and this company!

A good tour with Khang , and the local meal was great, plus the driver was good too. He got us back to port on time. If we went again would ask for Khang, very helpful ,full of info :) A Very Good Service indeed !.

If you go to Vietnam, request Khang! He was excellent and fun to be with. Great history knowledge and outstanding photographer, he took so many excellent pictures of my wife and I. I cannot say enough good things about Khang and how he took care of us …. He is 5 Star!
