Great Day Trip

This was an amazing day trip outside of Dublin. Diana was very knowledgable of so much of the ancient history to Hills of Tara. The views of River Boyne from Trim Castle were spectacular. Diana kept us on schedule and we really appreciated the information she gave us on the history of the area. You’ll love all the beautiful sites

Diana was full of knowledge and she customized our tour the way we wanted it. She has a passion for showing the historical sights of Ireland. This was a fun quick trip not far from Dublin.

An amazing day with Gateway to Ireland Tours

We travelled with our 2 adult daughters to Dublin and Cork. We had a full itinerary over 9 days, but unanimously agreed that this tour was our favorite. Diana was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about Irish history and the sites that we visited. We opted for the private tour in the luxury vehicle and it was worth every penny. The Hill of Tara was beautiful and the stories were fascinating. Bective Abbey was amazing and provided great photo opportunities and Diana packed a picnic basket with delicious scones, jam and tea which we very much enjoyed. Our last stop was Trim Castle which blew us away. Diana even provided us with a connection for a driver to transfer the 4 of us and our luggage from Dublin to Cork and then back to Dublin again. Our driver, Liam, was great and the vehicle was comfortable and immaculate. I highly recommend Gateway to Ireland tours.

This was an amazing trip with Diane. She is a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area, local sites and where to go. I highly recommend this tour with Diane. It's a great local tour with a stop at a local place to get some lunch or a coffee with some homemade scones. Truly beautiful scenery, castles and hidden truths about Ireland. I would take a tour with Diane the next time I am in Dublin.

This tour was the perfect itinerary! Tara Hill is fascinating and our guide Diana was very knowledgeable- I enjoyed chatting with her about the area’s ancient history, we learned so much from her. The pic nic stop at Bective Abbey was such a charming treat- and Diana brought some delicious scones & jam for us! And of course seeing Trim Castle (where some of Braveheart was filmed) is very impressive. We loved this tour, and had a good amount of time at each stop to really enjoy everything. Diana was very accommodating & the perfect host… Thank you for a wonderful day! Highly recommend this!
