Overview

Depart Dublin travel by luxury coach to Belfast for a political black cab tour, followed by a trip to the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle. From the comfort of your black cab, tour Northern Ireland's capital, see the landmark sites including the Falls and Shankill neighbourhoods. Stopping at various locations and sign the Peace Wall, learn of Belfast’s tragic political history. After departing Belfast we travel through the county of Antrim onto the spectacular Antrim Coastal route. Our next stop is the world famous Dun Luce Castle. Admission is included with a visiting time of 30 minutes. We then proceed just down the coastal road to the Giant’s Causeway (lunch options available there). Explore its dramatic cliffs and rock formations with a visiting time of 2 hours. Head for home, with lots of fun on the way and a designated rest stop.

A great day trip into N. Ireland

Excellent day trip up into Northern Ireland. Highly recommend the Black Cab tour...I learned so much about the situation there and the hardship many Catholics faced (and still do). Very moving. Dunluce Castle and Giant's Causeway are must-see locations. Our guide, Daithi, and driver, Pete, were fantastic.

Daithi and Podge were amazing guides. The tour is very well done and absolutely worth it. I highly recommend the Black Cab Tour. It’s fascinating to see all the different locations from history.

Dave & Krishna Literally Rock!

Dave and Krishna were friendly, energetic and eager that our tour should be fun and well informed. As he skillfully shared the history of the country and northern region, Dave weaved in a playlist that included Paul McCartney and jokes that included Johnny Cash to tell the story. Lol, but it really worked. U2 was also on the playlist , of course. There was also quiet time o relax, sleep or read if you wanted to do so. The time flew by. Giants Causeway was breathtaking and the trip to Northern Ireland lush and green. It was a lovely day. Thanks also to Krishna who drove us safely from place to place and kept us on time. They have a great team of folks over at Wild Rover.

Beautiful and moving

Our tour of Northern Ireland was a truly beautiful and unforgettable experience. We chose the Black Taxi option, which provided a powerful and eye-opening look into the region’s complex and often heartbreaking history. Our taxi driver was not only incredibly informative but also warm and personable, which made the experience even more engaging. One of the highlights was visiting the castle, absolutely stunning! We only wish we had more time to explore it fully, as it felt a bit rushed. Our guide, Dave, was knowledgeable and friendly, kept the day upbeat and enjoyable despite the heavier historical content. Our driver, Krishna? also did a great job, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. Overall, this tour was a perfect blend of history, culture, and breathtaking scenery.
