What To Expect

1. Pere-Lachaise Cemetery Our expert guide will meet you at the North Entrance of the Cemetery. We use this trick so that you will walk all the way down this high hill instead of climbing up from the below. Using special shortcuts to discover the most evocative landscapes and the unbeaten paths, we'll manage to visit a 44 hectares labyrinth in a couple of hours without missing any of the gravestones of important people buried here. A small group will allow you to customize your experience and to indulge into special requests. Your tour concludes at Porte du Rèpos very close the Philippe Auguste (Line 2) and Pere Lachaise (Line 2 and 3) metro stops. If needed our guide will take you to a very close taxi stand. 2 hours

Wonderful Experience!

Jade was our tour guide and was wonderful .He made it fun and interesting.He was very knowledgeable . He had interesting stories and antidotes which he shared during the 2hour tour. I would highly recommend him and the tour .

Worth the visit

Put on your comfortable shoes and set aside a few hours to walk this cemetary. Very rich in history with the final resting place of some famous people. There's ma map of the cemetary inside take a photo of that and don't waste the 2 euros on the one being sold outside. Everything is clearly marked and easy to follow. It's very quiet and peaceful with a few crows cawing yoy may even see a few cats roaming around.

Very good tour

Great tour - a mix of gravesites with a very knowledgeable guide. The Holocaust memorials were particularly moving. Guide was able to bring bring local knowledge and sensitivities to the tour group. Well paced and, at 2 hours, a good length. Keep in mind the walk goes up and down over cobblestones so be prepared.

The walking tour was really interesting and themed on the macabre. Which is only fitting for a cemetery. Our guide was knowledgeable and told great stories, and showed us some out of the way tombs of people I didn't know but now I'm glad i do. First rate all the way.
