A fun stroll through the "world's largest open-air museum".  In The Chairfather tour, your guide, a local author, will take you on an immersive experience encompassing theatrical representations and citations, music clips, sound effects, gags and other surprises. Hearing the tales of personalities told in this entertaining way, you'll agree the passed have never been more alive! Come walk with The Chairfather and hear his stories. The tour is ready whenever you are and the audio plays automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smartphone's GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app, which also works offline.

  • Pere-Lachaise Cemetery (Pass By)

    On this tour, we will cover one third of the 44 hectares of this immense park. We will visit the final resting places of luminaries Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein, Alice B Toklas, Ettore Bugatti, Amadeo Modigliani, Edith Piaf, Henri Salvador, Beaumarchais, Anna de Noailles, the Carton family, Quintin Craufurd, Victor Noir, Sarah Bernhardt, Yves Montand, Simone Signoret, Isadora Duncan, Stéphane Grappelli and a Dragon. In life, many of our hosts were connected to each other in surprising ways. This tour explores political intrigue, forbidden love, and, of course, sex.

Fun way to explore the cemetery

My sister and I explored Père Lachaise today and loved the tour. The guide was clear and helpful. We got off the path once and the GPS immediately knew we were lost. It was helpful and fun to have this guide and to tour the cemetery on our own. Highly recommend.

Wonderful commentary on Père Lachaise cemetery! Having been there before, I know that the labyrinthine layout of the place is overwhelming. With this audio guide, you are easily led to the various sites chosen. Even if you get off track, you are able to find your way again.
