Becasue of the depressing heat, thus the British set sight on the highest peak in Penang i.e. Penang Hill or locally known as(Flag Staff Hill) Bukit Bendera. They built a railway up the hill and bungalows for retreat during weekend. Here we can see the legacy of the bungalows left behind by the British beside experiencing a lower temperature climate compared to ground level. See Area View of George Town, Love Lock, Ginger Garden monkeys and some other habitat in the 130million year old forest.

Wat Chaiyamangkalaram is a Thai Buddhist temple that contains Third world's longest indoor reclining Buddha statues, as well as several coloured statues of Dragon (nagas) and other mythical creatures. Walk around the statue for more trivias like "Weekdays" Buddha, 12 Chinese animals zodiac Buddhas, and Try your luck at the Fortune Wheeler.

Seeing the Marbel made buddha status at the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple, built in 1803, is the sole and oldest Burmese Buddhist temple in Penang. The temple is situated directly across Thai Temple Wat Chaiyamangkalaram. Walk around it to see what are the Burmese Buddhist nations. At the back of the temple, count the number of animal's parts that make up the magical animal called Panca Rupa. Throw a few coins for good luck at the "Wheel of Life" fountain. We were totally wowed! Tiger helped us customize the very best day we’ve had on a shore excursion…ever! His enthusiasm and knowledge were off the charts. He made our stops at the temples personal and so informative. We went everywhere I wanted to go, and he threw in a few other places that were must-see. Georgetown came alive, Chew jetty, street food, and every important temple. Absolutely do not miss this—Tiger is the best guide you will ever have, making Penang the best place you’ve ever visited.

Tiger was the most amazing informative guide driving me between the chosen landmarks and attractions. His in depth knowledge of history and his passion for the job that he loves leaves me in no doubt he made the right decision to change career to carry on in tourism as a licensed guide. I thoroughly recommend the tour.
Excellent guide and full day

Tger asked what we were hoping to get out of the day. We explained that as we were based in Georgetown we could see everything that was in walking distance by ourselves. As we are interested in the history and culture we decided to see many temples, during our day we did Penang Hill first and the funicular railway. Then Ken Lok Si temple , the reclining Buddha and then many other temples. He explained the formation of each religion and the explained things clearly and in an understandable way so that that we could learn all we needed to. Ended at the Botanical Gardens that are beautiful. We would recommend Tger to all.
