Overview

I pici sono il piatto di pasta più famoso della Provincia di Siena. Si tratta di un tipo di pasta fatta a mano, più spessa dei normali spaghetti, che viene realizzata arrotolando l’impasto e sfregandolo con entrambe le mani; questo gesto viene appunto chiamato “appiciare”. Imparerete, divertendovi, a realizzare non solo i pici, ma anche tagliatelle e gustosi sughi per il condimento, come il ragù di carne, il sugo all’aglione o cacio e pepe. This was One of the highlights of our trip! Our host was so enthusiastic and such a great teacher! The setting and everything about the class was perfect! Highly recommend!

A Taste Of Tuscany

Hello Leon. We had an amazing day with our host. The cooking class was more than we expected. The surroundings of the farm made the experience even that much more enjoyable. Simonetta made us feel warm and welcome. Her knowledge of pasta and sauces are amazing. It is an experience of Tuscany that we will never forget. The lunch that followed was glorious! Wonderful memories were made. I'm looking forward to trying the recipes when I get home! Thank you.

Fabulous Cooking Class in Tuscany

Fabulous authentic experience! If you have a time constraint I don’t recommend as we were there closer to 5 hours (activity listed as 3 hours long), but it is worth the time. The setting is beautiful and food was outstanding! Maria and Alister greeted us with drinks and snacks. We prepared 4 courses from beginning to end. The food was delicious! Maria provided us copies of the recipes (unfortunately we accidentally left ours at the house).

Farmhouse cooking experience.

We really enjoyed our cooking experience with Simonetta! It was fun cooking in an Italian farmhouse kitchen. At the end of class we dined on the patio eating the delicious meal we had prepared. We would highly recommend this pasta making experience!

Had an amazing cooking class with Daniel at his family farm. Learnt how to make a traditional dish to the area with all local and fresh produce. Was an amazing day.
