Overview

Flamboyance Tours features the works of Adelaide-raised, London-based artist Jimmy C (James Cochran) on this unique Adelaide street art tour, where along the way you’ll chow down on sweet eats across Chinatown! Along this two-hour walk, learn about how Jimmy C developed his unique ‘drip-style’ technique as you view his pieces across the city centre. See his collaborations with other artists as you first wander through the East End before moving on to Chinatown. There, marvel at more amazing Jimmy C pieces as well as other local street art. Along the way you’ll stop for a few sweet snacks, sampling some of Adelaide’s best local foodie gems. After getting our information straight from Jimmy C himself, we're proud to call him one of our own! *Please note that this tour contains images of, and references to, a deceased First Nations person (not pictured here). *If there is only one person booked, we have the right to reschedule or cancel the tour.

    Start the tour in one of Adelaide's street art hubs, where you will see how Jimmy C shaped the works of this area and contributed to the eclectic vibe of the East End.

    We walk through a small section of Gouger Street in the greater Chinatown area, giving you a small taste of what you can explore after finishing the tour.

A wonderful way to explore the city and its colourful streets

The street art tour led by Katina was a great way to see the city and learn about the colourful works of art adorning the city’s walls. Katina is enthusiastic and knowledgeable, she has undertaken a comprehensive research of the subject, even to the extent of interviewing Jimmy C to gain a deeper insight into the background of the artist and the techniques he applies. And the street food was lovely too!

Katina is a real gem, full of knowledge and very enthusiastic. She arrived with the friendliest smile and gave a detailed, educative tour. There is so much to appreciated about street art , including examples of early and later work, collaborations between street artists, various techniques used. WOW - I had no idea. Do this tour. Especially if Adelaide is your city. I am going to visit some of my home city Melbourne's Laneways and take a tour too. A knowledgeable guide is invaluable.

Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! Katina has put together a phenomenal introduction to street art in Adelaide by focusing on a local artist. This is a great way to learn about something unique to Adelaide while having a fabulous time. I have two university age kids with vastly different interests and they were both hooked. This is an excellent tour with an excellent tour guide.
