Explore the haunted side of New Orleans with this 2-hour walking tour led by a local guide. Learn about real ghost stories at haunted locations throughout the French Quarter which have been verified by historical research done at each property - this is not about theatrics. This is the only historically accurate tour that covers vampires, voodoo, pirates, murder, ghost, the occult, mayhem and witchcraft.

Wesley was a great tour guide, he politely managed the intoxicated persons in our group which I really appreciated. He gave us a taste of vampire, crime, ghost, and voodoo tales which was an informative first tour. He spoke very clearly and provided the perfect amount of detail. He uses humour but also had the hair on the back of my neck stand up a few times. Well done Wesley, or was he the Dread Pirate Roberts?

Wes impressed us from the minute we introduced ourselves. He was not only a great source of knowledge, and a wonderful storyteller he was also very good at crowd control. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and appreciated learning more about the history and hearing the stories.

Voodoo, Witches, Ghosts, Murder, Pirates, Vampire Tour - Orion Couling Was Great!

My friend and I took this tour with Orion Couling. We were not sure which day we wanted to book a tour because the weather was cold and rainy during our 4 day stay in NOLA. We woke up Saturday to a no rain forecast and were hoping for a tour that evening. I reached out to Orion and he was able to accommodate us for a tour that evening. I received very clear and complete info on the tour and where to meet up. Orion was prompt at the meet up spot and after a short orientation, off we went. We were not sure what to expect because we had not been on this type of tour before. Orion was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable on the folklore of the quarter. He kept up a good pace and even asked everyone if they were good with the speed. It was a very chilly night and he made sure everyone knew to bundle up. We went by a lot of spooky spots and got information that we had never heard before. At Muriel’s he showed us the table set for Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan and wove a fascinating story about his ghost. We went to Muriel’s for Jazz Brunch the next morning and thanks to his story we knew to ask about it. They gave us a private tour of the séance room which was awesome. He kept up a great tour and made sure we all stayed together. We both really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend Orion Couling without hesitation. We plan on returning to the Quarter in April and will definitely be looking at some of his other tours.

Very informative we found out more about New Orleans then we never knew before. Guide was kind towards everyone, also keeping us safe. Talking about bringing our son on these tours in our next visit to New Orleans.
