Overview

Our tour is of the ENTIRE island be aware there are many different "Isla tours". The Most Popular Tour in La Paz! Espíritu Santo is unique to all other islands in the Gulf and was designated a National Park in 2007. The rich biodiversity of the islands includes over 50 species of waterfowl and at least 15 mammals in the marine zone and 200 species of plants, 53 endemic, 70 species of amphibians, reptiles and mammals including the Juancito or Babisuri. We will cross the San Lorenzo Channel on our 25 km ride to San Gabriel and nesting Frigatebirds and stunning blue waters. Passing along the shallow bays lined with mangroves, rocky reefs, Isla La Ballena-La Gallo-La Partida, the Arch of Espíritu Santo on our way to snorkel Los Islotes and the largest colony of California Sea Lions in the Sea of Cortez. (Sept-May) Time for Beach Lunch! Ensenada Grande or similar location for fresh ceviche and sandwiches under shades and time to explore the island or just relax and take it all in.

Itinerary

Isla Espiritu Santo

On our full day Experience we will explore the hidden blue coves, epic white sand beaches of the island. Passing unique geology, sea life, The Arch of Espiritu Santo, swim with playful sea lions of Islotes at the north end of the island. All before 1 1/2 hours on Ensenada Grande or another amazing beach, with time for fresh ceviche and sandwiches under shades, snorkel or sunbath, even explore the terrain of the Island.

Isla Los Islotes

Islotes is home to the largest sea lion colony in the Sea of Cortez. We will spend time snorkeling with these curious and playful animals in their natural habitat, watching mothers teach their pups among the cereal and sea life surrounding this amazing location.

We will visit the amazing Ensenada Grande or similar beach for time to enjoy fresh lunch of ceviche and sandwiches as well as time to snorkel or explore the island.

My wife and I had our 1 year old and 4 year old with us and Angel our captain, Carly was out tour guide and they were outstanding super friendly, helpful, and just made the overall experience one to remember. Playa Ensenada, the Arch’s, Sealion sanctuary, and the boat ride it self was an educational experience as well as a lot of fun! The lunch was really good also! Playa Esenada is so calm and relaxing you’ll forget were you are Isla Partida and Isla Espiritu Santo are enchanting! Overall a great time.
