Epic Death Road Experience with Barracuda Biking!

I had an absolutely blast riding the Death Road with Barracuda Biking. Marcelo and Alvaro were our guides, and they made the entire experience smooth, safe, and so much fun! Everything was explained clearly (in very good English) and calmly – from the route to all the safety measures – and I felt in great hands the entire time. There were plenty of stops along the way to rest, take in the views, enjoy some snacks, and share a few laughs with the group. The bikes were in excellent condition, and all safety equipment was provided and well-maintained. Marcelo and Alvaro brought great energy and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident throughout the ride as well as encouraged to go at their own space and constantly reminded of the safety measures during the ride. Highly recommend doing the Death Road with these guys – it’s a must-do experience when in La Paz, and Barracuda makes it top-notch from start to finish! Cheers guys!

Safety at the forefront!

as someone who has never done mountain biking etc, felt extremely safe throughout the experience. The guides definitely had a safety first approach. I was a bit slower than the rest of the group and the guide kept with me the whole time. Lunch at the end was super filling and delicious too. They took great photos and videos of the group. The minivan was really comfortable.

Fantastic experience, our guides Remy, Marcelo and Ruben were very helpful, making sure everything was as safe as can be. I would recommend to anyone able to cycle, you do not have to be an expert by any means and can take things at your own pace.

I joined their Death Road tour and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The guides and drivers were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone stayed safe throughout the day. A huge shoutout to Chelo and Ruben – they were absolutely fantastic! Even though I was a bit nervous beforehand, I felt completely safe the entire time thanks to their guidance. The bikes were in great condition, and everything was well-organized. The tour included breakfast, all necessary gear, a quality bike, transportation, snacks, water, and a buffet lunch after the ride. We even had the option to swim and got to enjoy a hot shower at the end! There were enough breaks during the ride, and the guides shared interesting history and facts during the stops and on the bus. As a great bonus, we received a t-shirt at the end of the tour. Overall, the experience was well worth the price – excellent value for money. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering biking the Death Road!
