Hiking on the Mount

Beautiful and informative walk on Mount Royal, went on trails I would not have found on my own. We walked from the bottom of the mount to the top and back down again, visiting the lake, the chalet and the cross. Great views over Montreal and the surrounding area.

This is an easy-to-moderate hike, but not one for couch potatoes! You are walking up a mountain, so there are steps involved at times - rather check with the organizer and/or book a private tour if your physical fitness is iffy (the last thing you want is to be the straggler constantly holding up the group). Demetrios is an attentive and informative guide - and helpful on the ice!

Even if it’s COLD outside, go for a hike with Demetrios. He’s a fantastic and knowledgeable and friendly guide. It made our teens remember that they love to hike too! Beautiful views and fun trek through the snow!

Wonderful Tour even for solo visitors! D was very knowledgeable and Montréal felt less like a stranger after the end of the tour. He showed hidden sites as well as important landmarks. I felt more connected with Montréal after this. Went in December and there was some ice and snow sprinkles so dress warm and wear suitable shoes for winter :)

My family and I had an amazing outing today led by Demetrios. He is very knowledgeable about Montreal’s rich history and Mount Royal itself. The tour was punctual and great for children and older adults alike. We had a great time and took some great pictures at great viewpoints he led us to. Definitely recommend to start your vacation so the this tour.
