Overview

Montefioralle Winery is very small family-run winery where you can enjoy the outstanding view of the old village of Montefioralle Generally, it is always possible to taste different vintages of our wines, allowing you to better understand the importance of the aging of our wines and the unique characteristics of each vintage.

Itinerary

Enjoy the tasting of our wines – Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, IGT and Vin Santo – at the foot of the hill of Montefioralle on our farm. We serve some lighter snacks to pair with the wine. Depending on the time of year, the tasting can be carried out in the small room above the basement, or outdoors in the square surrounded by vineyards and one of the most beautiful views in the world: the Chianti countryside and the view of the Montefioralle village. Along with the tasting of our wines, we will be happy to take you on a visit of our vineyards and our small winery, located right in the middle of our farm. There the basic processes for the production of our wine will be explained, from mashing the grapes through winemaking and aging to bottling.

Small, intimate winery tour

Small winery which gave the tour an intimate feel. Beautful setting. The guide was the owner and he was very informative. Lovely tasting experience as well. Great wine….we ordered for delivery.

Lovely tour and tasting

Very nice tour of the vineyards and enjoyable tasting on their patio. One of the family members gave us the tour and was very knowledgeable about the history of the property and their wine making processes. We enjoyed a lovely spread with the tasting.

Wonderful experience

It was a very hot day, but we had a wonderful experience in the winery garden. Manila gave us a detailed and passionate explanation of the winemaking process at this small but traditional winery. I will never forget the stately depth of the Chianti Classico Riserva and the amber roundness of the Monteficalle IGT. I would like to visit again someday.

Beautiful Montefioralle

The Montefioralle Winery is a beautiful located small winery in the hills of the area Montefioralle. We first did a tour of the small winery that only produces 15.000 bottles per year, where we saw the fields and the production facility. We then tasted 4 wines together with local food, which all were of high quality. If you are a novice and winelover this is a fine place to start. If you have greater experince in tastings, then maybe this winery is a bit to basic for you.
