My husband and I want to introduce the products of our company through unique experiences in contact with nature immersed in the Tuscan countryside: the search for truffles is a unique experience that you will appreciate in all its forms, followed by the school of homemade pasta and lunch based on truffles with tasting of our wines and extra virgin olive oil.

Itinerary

Truffle hunting on our property is a unique experience that must be tried if you are in our area! The day starts in the morning at 10:30 in spring (a little earlier in summer to avoid excessive heat) together with the “truffle hunter”, a professional who, together with his inseparable Lagotto from Romagna with an exceptional nose for truffles, will take you into the woods of the property in search of the precious and fragrant truffle. You will be in direct contact with nature for about 45 minutes, actively participating in the search for “black gold” and learning a lot about this ancient activity that has been taking place in Tuscany for hundreds of years. Then in the middle of the morning returning to the farm you will learn how to make fresh pasta (tagliatelle) that will be served to you for lunch. Lunch will be served on the beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyards and our olive grove: you can relax and enjoy our homemade lunch, with tasting of our wines and our extra virgin olive oil.

Exceeded expectations

The entire experience was amazing! The hosts made us feel at home at their lovely Tuscan manor with breathtaking views. We were never rushed and Fabrizio took his time to accommodate every guest. Gon Marco and Tabu, our truffle hunting dog, were an incredible team, not stopping until we had more than enough truffles for our delicious lunch.

This experience exceeded my expectations! I was thinking we'd just go into the forest to look for truffles and then make pasta. But they fed us a ton, chatted with us a bit and made us feel at home. Every staff member was so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We spent a memorable day at Cofferi1242! Despite the rainy weather, our spirits weren't dampened. After Fabrizio provided us with rainboots, THE CUTEST dog, Joy, followed by her owner, Lucca, took us on a delightful hunt to look for truffles. Our group entered the woods as strangers but came out as friends. Next, Fabrizio taught us how to make pasta, mixing, rolling, folding, and cutting. Between the stages of pasta preparation, Fabrizio and his son showered us with Italian hospitality. Fabrizio's son prepared bruschetta, and Fabrizio served us delicious homemade wine surrounded by a spectacular view. Later, they brought a massive platter of local charcuterie products and more wine to our group, followed by our own pasta topped with the foraged truffles that Joy had found. YUM! To top the experience off, they served us a fruity dessert, bruschetta, which Camilla had made. This adventure was unique, authentic, and fun. Not only did we get our "puppy fix" so far from home, but we also found an appreciation for the love and tradition this wonderful family brought to our "beyond words" experience!

We had the most amazing experience - a real highlight of our honeymoon! The hunt itself was very informative and we learnt so much about truffles and hunting dogs. The cooking class we did after was an equally enjoyable experience, and all of the food was delicious - make sure you're hungry when you go! Give yourself a good 4-5 hours for this experience to soak it all in and enjoy the beautiful property.
