Overview

Spend a full day exploring the wilderness of the Everglades on this adventure from the Greater Fort Myers/Naples area. With your naturalist guide, take an exciting airboat ride in the Western Everglades, see wildlife on a drive through Big Cypress National Preserve, admire towering cypress trees on a nature walk, and enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along mangrove-lined waters to see manatees, dolphins and osprey. The best everglades tour

The most amazing everglades tour! Had such a blast on the airboat and getting to meet and learn about the captive snakes and alligators! Very entertaining and educational, I highly recommend!

Fascinating and Fun

My husband and I and our 23 year old son enjoyed our day with Pete immensely! He was a very engaging and thoughtful guide as well as a very knowledgeable speaker on a wide variety of issues and topics regarding the Everglades past and present. We had a beautiful day and spotted many types of wild and marine life. We felt Pete and both boat captains put in much effort to try and find the most interesting and exciting scenes for our enjoyment and exploration. We spotted many types of birds, crocodiles , turtles and the highlight of the day was a pod of dolphins that swam for a long time within arms length of our boat- so exciting! Got fantastic footage :) Lunch was tasty and service was great in a lovely local restaurant with a very friendly vibe. It was a full day that flew by with so much to see and absorb and definitely walked away appreciating the Everglades with all that we discovered and learned. Highly recommend! Lunch

Absolutely amazing Must do

Absolutely amazingly Must do! Pete started us out on our bus tour with a list of birds for bird spotting! Throughout the day we ended up with almost 30 different birds. We took a short nature walk and Pete showed us different plants, berries, animals etc. Then we went on an air boat touring the Everglades. We saw alligators and snakes! We stopped at a nice island cafe for lunch. We went on another boat tour of the Everglades and stopped at an antique shopping store. Pete knows so much history of the Indians, Collier and the area.

Amazing day! Saw a few gators and snakes and tons of birds. Pete really made the trip special with his knowledge of plants and animals. I was particularly impressed with the history he shared of the Everglades and the indigenous tribes. Would do it all over again the next time we’re back here.
