The 90 minute covered boat Tour departs from Port of the Islands Marina every 45 minutes daily 365 days per year.

Manatee Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventures

Experienced nature loving Coast Guard licensed captains to narrate the tour in a manner that resonates with children/adults of all ages. Manatees in the wild may be in the harbor area, the residential bays, or in the exciting mangrove forest. Manatees come to the boat over 90% of the time. Patrons enjoy matching birds in the trees to the provided Everglades bird Card. There is a max of 6 passengers per boat. Family groups of 7-42 will use multiple boats staying close.

This was not just another trip where you may or may not see a Manatee. It was wonderful, our guide, Paul was very knowledgeable and interesting. We saw many, many manatees and Paul pointed out lots of birds , alligators & a crocodile, giving us fascinating facts on all of them. It was a wonderful afternoon trip, would highly recommend it for families!

It’s was a fun experience, we saw a lot of manatees. We saw a whole family underneath some boats. We also alligators/crocodile, birds with being informed the differences between them… apparently manatees were also elephants which is a great historical fact that we did not know before!!

We had a wonderful morning with Captain Becky! She was very knowledgeable and we saw many manatees as well as alligators and a wide variety of birds. Our guests loved it and thought it was a great Florida experience!
