We make 6 different delectable stops on the tour (enough for lunch) Explore what was once an immigrant and working class neighborhood rich in ethnic diversity and culture. We will be meeting at 205 East Houston Street (outside in front of Katz's Deli, in front of the sign that says "Known as the best since 1888." The sign is on the Ludlow Street side of Katz's. Katz's is on the corner of East Houston Street and Ludlow St. If your late, go inside Katz's

Nighttime draws hip, young crowds to the area's trendy bars, music venues and restaurants. The neighborhood's Jewish heritage lives on through Orchard Street's Lower East Side Tenement Museum and old-world fabric stores, as well as traditional delis such as Katz's and Russ & Daughters.
