This is our second trip with Downhill Bikes, we had great fun and will be sure to return again on our next visit to Salou. Kathrin and Manfred are full of knowledge and good humour. The scenery was beautiful and the roads almost traffic free making for a safe and enjoyable experience. Visiting the cooperativa was an authentic experience and gave us the opportunity to taste (and buy!) some of the best olive oil in the world for a very reasonable price. The road biking section before this was very long and snaked through the incredible Catalan mountains and countryside, the smell of the pine forest was delightful! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area, thank you again Kathrin and Manfred and see you again soon!

It was a great way to spend half a day, simply enjoying the cycling and the views, and a change from the typical beach experience. Katrine and Mandred were great tour guides. I’d highly recommend this if you want to do something a bit different on holiday. Great fun!

A Half-Day Escape into the Real Spain. This half-day riding tour was an absolute gem! From the moment we set off into the hills above Salou, I knew we were in for a treat. The scenery was breathtaking, with rolling hills and stunning vistas. Our guides were fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. They made everyone feel at ease, whether you were a seasoned rider or a complete beginner. Their insights into the local culture and history added a rich dimension to the experience. Riding through a traditional Catalonian town was like stepping back in time. The charming architecture and warm atmosphere were captivating. It was fascinating to learn about the process and taste some delicious local produce at the olive oil museum and to top it off, a refreshing drink at a local bar was the perfect end to a wonderful morning. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the coast and experience the real Spain, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. It's a fantastic way to explore the beautiful countryside, immerse yourself in local culture, and create unforgettable memories. Highly recommend!

Amazing. Best experience to get out of the tourist trap if Dalou town which is nice in its own right. But what an experience to get into the real Catalan countryside. Exhilarating and beautiful scenery. This is my second time, once with my own children and a second time with my partners. Everyone enjoyed the experience from 9 yrs old to well let’s just say older. Definitely a must do activity.

Booked the trip at home, directly with the company online. Great communication and no problems at all on the meet up. Manfred and Julian were our guides. They were really friendly and good company. Our group ranged from 16 to 72 and we all had a great time.
