Overview

Visit the island of La Gomera on a day trip from southern Tenerife, and experience its sights, culture and food with a local guide! A haven of peace with dramatic terrain, the island is often considered as the gem of the Canarian archipelago. Discover landmarks such as Columbus House in the capital of San Sebastian, ogle the views from Mirador de Las Carboneras, enjoy a 2-course lunch in a quaint village, and then watch a ‘silbo gomero’ (local whistling language) demonstration. The meal will be traditional Canarian. I a special dietary meal is required let us know beforehand so this can be arranged. PLEASE NOTE THE ITINERARY MAY ALTER TO VARIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

Parque Nacional de Garajonay

Driving the the area stops may be made for photos and enjoy the views. The beautiful mysterious laurel forrests and views over the Atlantic looking at Tenerife Mount Teide volcano.

Torre del Conde Park

You will have some time in San Sebastian to take a walk to see the Torre Del Conde. A medeival fortification build around 1470 as a defence for the island.

La Iglesia de la Asuncion de San Sebastian de La Gomera

Again while in San Sabastian you will be given free time to walk around. you may want to check out a canarian church (very lovely)

Exceptional La Gomera Excursion

The excursion was amazing thanks to our knowledgeable guide, Laura and our trusted bus driver, Pepe. Laura knew the history of the island as well as knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. She had an easy going personality making her approachable for conversation and questions. Pepe steered the bus around the mountainous curves so efficiently that no one left with white knuckles from holding on too tightly. The sites were breathtaking, especially in the National Park. I highly recommend this Atlantico excursion and their guide, Laura.

Great Tour and a great tour guide

This trip was excellent. Get picked up close to hotel and taken to the ferry port at Los Cristianos about an hour crossing and then onto another bus for the tour. Made very interesting by our tour guide Enrique De Lorenzo Cabrera, a lovely guy who made the tour much fun. We had a very nice 3 course lunch with wine half way round before continuing the tour. It is a long day, about 11 hours door to door but very much worth it. We booked our tour in Costa Adeje at The Jet Ski Centre & Excursions a nice guy took the booking, however he might try to get you to pay more for a "Faster Ferry Crossing" Don't take it, we did and found out later all the crossings are fast.

Took a trip on the ferry from Tenerife to La Gomera. Great view of both islands and saw a pod of whales on the way back. Wondered round San Sebastián then listened to street music in the square as we had lunch al fresco.

The trip from start to finish was fantastic, great, funny tour guide who spoke multiple languages. The driver was funny and professional, especially on the tight roads. The food and whistle experience was exceptional. The trip was a good balance, not rushed but also not too slow. I hate boats but really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely go again!
