Overview

Enjoy this exhilarating 2-hour ride through the Costa Rican jungle. Offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Jaco Beach and the Nicoya Peninsula, this tour is great for groups on a limited time frame. After meeting up and getting situated on your ATV, you will be on your way to experiencing 20 kilometers of rain forest and beach views with your bilingual guide. You will see the pacific ocean, Jaco beach, ride to the tops of the Agujitas Mountains, and even see a small waterfall. Food and drinks are not included on this tour.

  • All ATV/Rhino Tours will require that a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) voucher be taken and kept on file until the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented. Once the vehicle has been returned safely to our shop in the same condition in which it was rented, your voucher will either be returned to you, or destroyed on the spot, whichever you prefer. You must bring the required number of credit cards with you to Adventure Tours Costa Rica on the day of your ATV/Rhino tour. The number of credit cards required for your ATV Tour with us are as follows: 1 - 4 vehicles -1 card with a hold of $1000 5 – 8 vehicles - 2 cards with hold of $1000 each 9 – 12 vehicles – 3 cards with a hold of $1000 each.
  • Recommended to Bring: Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)
  • Children under 4 years old can't ride
  • Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
  • Trail conditions and rider ability may alter routes; therefore any features described herein may not be available for each tour. Please speak directly with your guide on the day of your tour for an up-to-date description of the expected route, as conditions can change on a daily basis.
  • Minimum drinking age in Costa Rica is 18 years
  • No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
  • ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
  • Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers
  • The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers

Great Views and Lots of Fun!

Great tour! Excellent guides (Diego), very dirty, lots of fun! The views along the way were incredible and the waterfalls were beautiful!

ATV adventure - reasonable price and great views

My daughter and I had an awesome time riding ATVs. First of all, everything was well organized. Secondly, they were very kind and allowed us to reschedule our tour when my daughter didn’t feel well in the date we originally booked. I was eternally grateful for that!! Thirdly, Jordan was an absolute pleasure - so fun and you could tell that he enjoys his work and interacting with guests. The highlights were stopping to see a monkey playing in the tree, and seeing toucans fly overhead as we drove. I personally loved the trail riding and going through rivers the most!!! If I could offer any advice on how to improve the tour, I would simply suggest not using street roads quite so much because I think most tourists associate ATV riding with an off-roading experience and want to be in nature as much as possible, especially since it’s advertised as a “jungle” tour. But other than that, it was a great experience and a lot of fun and definitely worth the price point!!

Great adventure. Tour guides are amazing. My kids loved the ride and the stops for pictures. Wait to book until everyone is sure. No refunds!!!

First time on a ATV

I had such a personable and memorable experience on this ATV tour! Although I don’t recall our guide’s name, he was incredibly patient and kind, always stopping to point out wildlife and take pictures. It was my first time on an ATV, and thanks to him, it definitely won’t be my last. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!
