Overview

Locally known as Crna Gora that literally means “black highlands” and also called "the most southern European fjord", this country is known for its forested hills that reach all the way to its pristine sea. From the Illyrian tribes and Romans who originally inhabited Montenegro to its unique role in today's political scene of Europe, you will learn two and a half thousand years of heritage and visit some of the most beautiful coastal towns on the Adriatic. Base tour includes drive through Herceg Novi and Perast, couple hours visit to Kotor, Budva and panoramic view of St. Stefan.

A truly fantastic day trip! Ivo was the perfect guide for us - easy going, knowledgeable, gave us the perfect amount of history, context, and guidance. The van for our 7-person group was clean and air-conditioned. The food was excellent, as well. We loved this tour and highly recommend it!
