Whale-Watching Excursion is an unstoppable offshore activity during winter in Okinawa from January until the end of March. Tourists and locals who keep on coming back to see the whales have an uplifting experience which makes them feel inspired and increase their longevity every time the whales appear just next to the boat. Everyone's excitement just can't be contained and see themselves screaming with satisfaction! BERRY has been organizing whale watching trip since 2005. And each year, our team has spotted and successfully recorded 99% of whale appearances. sonar and radar by our naturalist on board, we offer you a unique experience that is worth reminiscing.

Please bring a baby carrier for any children who cannot stand on their own.
We will give you a full refund if no whale is spotted from 1st Feb to 31st Mar. (Please note that no refund will be given if someone on board including the staff spots a whale, a dolphin or their blows.)
If no whales or dolphins are spotted on tours between Dec. 22 - Jan. 31, you will get a re-trial voucher to use on another day.
People with a history of epileptic seizure or loss of consciousness for unknown reasons, attack of hyperventilation syndrome cannot join this tour.
Pregnant or possibly pregnant cannot participate in this tour.

Whale watching in Oki!

The staff was fantastic and I loved that they knew the spots to see the whales. I had a great day out on the water and highly recommend this trip.

Last tour of the whale migration season (31.3.24).

We booked the last tour of the whale migration season where they would give a refund if you don’t see any whales or dolphins. Rose early and parked at a pier nearby. The marine club has a toilet and some souvenirs for sale. A minibus took us to the pier where we boarded a boat. Best to go up deck. After a 40-45min ride, around off shore near Chatan, we spotted a mom and calf humpback breaching and blowing and doing what whales do. We were around 500m away from the whales. My teen didn’t find the experience as exciting as I did. Once the whale dived down it takes 5-10min before it resurfaces. Worth getting a phone camera with a zoom.

We were able to see a mother and her calf and then later a male whale came which was impressive. My wife and I didn't get sea sick but several other people did. I would recommend taking sea sickness medication before the trip if you think you may be susceptible to sea sickness.

Seeing a family of whales was the ultimate experience for me! I highly recommend this tour to everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the boat crew worked so well together to make this experience one I’ll never forget!

Good afternoon out and although took a little time, the whales didn't disappoint. Plenty of time to see everything going on. Take the advice to take a warm jacket. Even on a warm day, the sea breeze is cold.
