Our experienced guides will navigate you through these lesser-explored routes, taking you to fascinating locations that are often missed by regular visitors. This tour will be scheduled for 3hous to 3 hours and 30 minutes , taking into account the time of sunset. ※If the precipitation probability exceeds 70% or in case of severe weather, we may change plans. Meet us at our shop nearby Makishi Monorail station. It's a 1min walk from Makishi Monorail station. Pick up your bikes and listen to a quick briefing so everyone can ride safely and have fun!

Tsuboya Yachimun Dori

Yachimun means "pottery" in the Okinawan language. Approximately 300 years ago, the Ryukyu Kingdom gathered scattered pottery kilns from various locations and brought them together in this area. Since then, Pottery Village has continued its history as an area known for ceramics. We will also enter small roads with a nostalgic atmosphere that can only be accessed by bicycles.

You will pass through Naha's local area, where still a few traditional houses remain. As you ride through, you will experience the everyday atmosphere of Okinawa and feel the sense of local life.
Shrikinjocho Stone-Path Road

You will explore the Shuri Castle town, which served as the capital of the Ryukyu Kingdom. As you wander through its streets, adorned with cobblestones, temples, and sacred shrines, you will immerse yourself in the culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom era and experience the religious beliefs of Okinawa.

You will pass through the vicinity of Asato Shotengai, which was once known as a "red-light district." In the evening, this area becomes lively with izakayas and other eateries. It might be a good idea to come back here for dinner or drinks after the tour ends.

I just wanted to say this was an awaresome tour. Visting from Australia. I did this tour on a Thursday as I just came off a flight from been up in tokyo. Shafaq was an great tour guide telling me the history and cycling around Naha. Highly recommended tour for anyone who is over in Naha and enjoys cycling.

Unique Bike Tour with Exposure to Okinawa’s Culture & History

This tour was wonderful! led by Guide/Host Reiji, we started at the famous Kokusai Doji, through alleyways to historic pottery, Okinawa traditions, the Shouji Stone Road, top of the city (park) with gorgeous sunset view, Shouji Castle documenting the history of Ryu Kyu Kingdom. The sunset experience was not only unique in the views and vibes, but also helped avoid crowdedness of the touristy yet important spots. Reiji was an excellent guide: very knowledgeable and passionate in storytelling. I’m impressed by the high quality and uniqueness of this tour. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa!

It was a nice ride through Naha city with stops at various points of cultural and historical significance. Our guide Tony is very knowledgeable on the history of Okinawa and the local culture. The highlight was watching the sunset and the cityscape after dark. Okinawan drivers are gracious and accomodating with cyclists, and Tony was quite alert with safety so it was a pleasant 3 hours ride.
