This adventure was awesome from start to finish. The only issue was getting to the starting point! The location listed on Viator was a good 30 minute ride from the actual spot where the boat was docked. Thankfully, our driver didn't charge us more and insisted we depart from our location an hour early! Now, to the starting point! While waiting to board, "Captain Hook" challenged people to sword fights, and the entire cast took pics with us. That made the wait entertaining. Our guide was absolutely phenomenal! I hate I forgot his name, but he was the one holding the green flag upon entry. The show began immediately, and the performance was spectacular! That captain's energy was on another level. She had the stamina of an entire army troop! LOL. They conducted the entire show in Spanish and English, so it was quite easy to follow most of the story line. Even when I drifted to enjoy the waters, figuring out what was going on was easy. Dinner was tasty, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. They were going to charge me a whopping $35 for one extra lamb chop which only had about 50 grams of meat on it. Of course, I declined. After dinner was more sword fighting and dancing with the cast. I would rate this excursion on the top of my list of activities I experienced while in Cancun. My advice: Make sure to contact them to confirm the exact location where your boat will be docked and leave in plenty of time to ensure you don't miss it!

This is located at a port in Isla Mujeres. It’s super important to arrange transport from your hotel and back as Ubers will not go out that far to pick you up. I feel dumb that I didn’t realize the change in venue from where we last saw this show a few years ago and we were lucky enough to have another van going back to Cancun take us with! One of the very kind pirates actually offered to find us a ride before we were sure we could go with the other hotel van. The pirates/actors/waiters went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of all evening. The show is fun and the meal was yummy. I prefer this pirate cruise to the other one in Cancun as this one gave us more space and a better show. Again, we cannot stress how incredibly kind and helpful all the actors were. Remember to bring cash to tip everyone generously.

From the time you arrive to the very end you will be entertained by the Pirates of Jolly Rogers. It starts at the Dock from check in till check out. They are all in character and do their best to get people involved. There is entertainment for the kids as well. The drinks are great. The food was very good. We had the surf and turf, it was prepared just as we had ordered. Raxes was our pirate for the evening, and he did a phenomenal job! We were able to get drinks right away. The boat ride was very nice. It was beautiful looking back to shore when it was all lit up for the night.

Fantastic night aboard the Jolly Roger! The crew were absolutely fantastic, from service to the food and of course the show. Well worth the money, the highlight of all our excursions. Really appreciate the detail and interactions with the adults and kids. We lived out our pirate dreams and had a really great meal. 10/10 would recommend!

What an amazing night - we were completely entertained from checking in to the time we stepped off the boat. Food was surprisingly good, (my prime rib tacos wee absolutely fantastic), the drinks were not too strong - which is good, because they’re unlimited. The pirate show was great fun and had something for all ages. And you get a personal pirate to look after your group through the night. Lots of fun and dancing at the end. Highly recommend!
