Overview

Enjoy a day away from hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur city and explore the British colonial city, Ipoh. This is a foodie’s city offering endless street stalls and included lunch at Old Town. You will explore Perak Cave and enjoy the cooling breeze on the top of the cave. There are many colorful paintings on the walls on the inner portion of the cave. Next to Ipoh Railway station, another master piece of colonial era heritage. Sam Poh Tong Caves Temple and Kek Lok Tang also included and worth visit to observe multi-cultural and historical sights of Ipoh.

    Enjoy boat ride and Orang Utan Island.

  • Perak Cave Temple

    Visit Perak Cave and enjoy the cooling breeze on the top of the cave. There are many colorful paintings on the walls on the inner portion of the cave. Even calligraphy from the masters, and some written by the son of the founders of Perak Tong.

  • Ipoh Railway Station

    Admire beautiful building of Old Railway Station Ipoh built during colonial time.

  • Sam Poh Tong Temple

    we go to the famous Sam Poh Tong, temple in cave. This temple has a lovely landscaped pond and you can buy some vegetables to feed to tortoise.

  • Art Of Old Town

    we will enjoy delicious local lunch in Old Town

  • Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and Zen Gardens

    Explore centuries old Kek Lok Tong (cave) and see the temple built into the limestone cave and there is a beautiful and tranquil Zen garden on the other side of the temple

I really appreciate my guide, Harin who flexibly arranged my tour to avoid traffic jam and meet my requests to see several sites. The lunch at Ipoh with chicken rice was delicious too. It was not a cheap tour but worth to pay for the experience.
