Itinerary

  • Reykjavik (Pass By)

    The tour starts with a pickup in a modified super jeep at your selected pickup location. Your guide will welcome you and go over the day schedule before we make our way to Ăžingvellir national park which will be the first stop of the day.

  • Geysir

    From Ăžingvellir we will head to the world renowned geothermal area around Geysir hot spring where you can witness gurgling bubbling water bursting up to 25 meter high. There area is covered in numerous hot springs but the main one now is Strokkur which bursts every 4 to 10 minutes.

  • Gullfoss Waterfall

    Next we head to Gullfoss Waterfall which is also know as "the Golden waterfall". Gullfoss is a great sight and a perfect photo spot with water rushing down three steps of lava layers exhibiting breathtaking power and grandeur.

    30 minutes

  • Langjokull Glacier

    Upon arrival at our glacier base camp, we’ll gear you up with all the essentials for snowmobiling – from snowmobile suits and gloves to balaclavas and helmets. Our expert guide will provide thorough instructions, ensuring you’re ready to conquer the glacier before heading out on a one hour snowmobile tour with two persons sharing a snowmobile. During the ride we will make a halfway stop where you can swap drivers so both participants have the chance to drive if the want to.

  • Reykjavik (Pass By)

    After the snowmobile trip we will start our scenic drive back to ReykjavĂ­k.

  • Thingvellir National Park

    The first stop of the day is the UNESCO listed Ăžingvellir National Park. There you will learn about AlĂľingi, one of the world's oldest parliaments which was founded in the year 930 AD. This is also where you can see the American and Eurasian tectonic plates and how they have been pulled apart resulting in a rift valley which is clearly visible.

Fantastic experience not to be missed

Unbelievable trip. We ended up having to split our tour over two days due to bad weather on the glacier but it actually made it even better. We were lucky enough to have Isabel our guide for 2 days who was amazing. Not only through dealing with challenges with weather and transport but due to her knowledge of the areas. It was a long couple of days but so worth it. Iceland is so beautiful and even more so the more you go inland. Lots of time at the stops for photo opportunities and breaks. The snowmobiling is pretty wild but amazing fun. Great instructors and definitely a must do if you like a bit of adrenaline. So well organised with an amazing team. Would highly recommend.

The views were amazing, but the tour was made perfect because of our guide Peter! He was very knowledgeable at each site he took us to on Icelandic culture while mixing in dry humor that made the whole experience more fun. Snowmobiling on the glacier was otherworldly. Only thing I would say is do not bring a lunch (they tell you to do that in their confirmation email), as they take you to a spot where you can buy lunch and the food there is amazing as well.

I booked a small group trip in the super jeep. It ended up being a completely private tour with just me and the guide Peter. BEST. DAY. EVER! Peter arrived at the exact time scheduled for pickup, we love a punctual guide! He drove very safely and took great care to keep me entertained since we were alone. It was like the VIP experience. He gave all of his Icelandic knowledge and inside tips and several recommendations of things to do while here. At each stop I was allotted ample time to visit each stop, the tour was the perfect amount of time. Peter took all of my pictures for me. He was so professional and personable and made this solo traveler have a wonderful experience. We did meet with a smaller group to snowmobile on the glacier and it was a 10/10 experience. Peter rides a snowmobile like a boss and ensured we had a GREAT time. He kept us safe and comfortable. I enjoyed this trip so much that I will be coming back for round two in a few months to show my family how fun this tour was. The whole tour was wonderful but Peter was the star of the show.
