Overview

Set off on the amazing Golden Circle experience with many interesting stops for people of different ages and cultures. Not only we will visit the most famous Geysir, Gulfoss and Thingvellir Nacional park, but we will make a few amazing stops along the way. Firstly KeriĆ° - a unique volcanic crater filled with water. Then famous Fridheimar greenhouse. We do not forget to stop along the way to get acquainted with horses or to taste homemade ice cream in the Efstidalur II farm. This will be a day to remember, packed with attractions, stories and good vibes! Our guides are really knowledgable and simply nice people. They will take care of you so you can get the best out of this tour.

IMPORTANT: The pickup starts at 8:30am and usually takes place between 8:30 and 9:00am. So please be ready at 8:30 at your pickup location. Look for the silver Sprinter with our ,,Back to Iceland travel '' logo on it. NOTE: Please note that Back to Iceland travel offers free pickup and ... drop off from hotels within Reykjavik. As buses are not allowed to drive in certain areas of Reykjavik center, your pick up may be from the nearest BUS STOP #. If you do not mark a hotel or BUS STOP# for pickup, the default pickup place is BUS STOP #8. If your pick-up location is not on our pick-up list then we kindly ask you to locate the closest pick-up point( Hotel or BUS STOP #) to your accommodation from the map or list below and meet us there for your tour. One ā€“two days before tour we will notify you of your exact pick up location and we will tell you all update info if need to know.     In HveragerĆ°i when you can get some freshly brewed coffee and Icelandic sweets at a local bakery. In the same building, you can visit Earthquake Museum which simulates the earthquake that rolled over (under:) the south of Iceland in 2008.

    KeriĆ° is a volcanic crater lake. You can have a walk around the ridges or even go down and touch the gleaming surface of the water.

    The famous greenhouse where you can see how we grow vegetables in Iceland

  • Gullfoss Waterfall

    When visiting theĀ Gullfoss waterfallĀ you will be stunned by the scale of this famous waterfall. Many cascades of fast pacing water dropping down to a canyon while producing amazing rainbows (with the right weather) is just a jaw-dropping experience! This is also a great place for lunch and forĀ shopping. We can recommend the traditional Icelandic soup (there is always an option without meat): it will keep you full and warm for the rest of the day.

A truly remarkable experience!

A great tour with an amazing guide. Anton was amazing, very informative, knowledgeable and whity. Got to see everything we wanted, learnt a huge amount of history and information. He went above and beyond; we were given ponchos and the use of crampons which were very much needed Would highly recommend this tour with this guide

Perfect tour for first timers in Iceland

Our guide was funny, informative and took us to the best spots. We had ample time at every stop. We only had two in our party so it was basically a private tour. Anthony even offered to drive us to our next destination so we didnā€™t have to arrange a transfer. Stand up guy who has jokes and knowledge about his country. 10 out of 10!!

Amazing Golden Circle Tour with hidden gems!!!

Anthony/Antonas was our Driver for our golden circle tour. He was exceptional! The tour was informative, fun and we got to see everything we wanted from the Kerid Crater, Gullfoss falls, Tomato Soup, Geysir, ice cream and the National Park. Along the way we got to see islandic horses, enjoy a bakery stop with coffee and learn so many things about this wonderful country. Anthony provided us with background and helpful tips to enjoy for every stop. I would recommend him highly. He made our day! Truly Amazing!!!! Thank you! Donā€™t think twice, book this tour!

Back To Iceland - tour company to use.

As first time travellers to Iceland we did our research and decided to book our tours with back to Iceland. I would highly recommend. We were fortunate to have the same guide Antony on both occasions. He was fantastic. His local knowledge and humour was amazing. I would suggest you choose the tours with smaller numbers. At various locations we met coach load of tourists and ours appeared more of a smooth tour. The golden circle tour was amazing, the waterfall in winter was stunning! Crampon use is a must and are provided by your guide. People have questioned whether the blue lagoon is a tourist trap (of course) but one you must do. Thank you BTI and especially Anton
