Itinerary

Japanese Swordsmanship "Iaido" consists of three words, I = Being, Ai = Encounter, Do = Way. Iaidoā€™s emphasis is on precise, controlled, fluid motion, and is sometimes referred to as ā€˜moving Zenā€™. The program goes further than most Iaido classes do for beginners in that the student is allowed to practice actual cutting techniques on certain objects like bamboo or straw shaped human forms using real Iaido swords. This part of the training is called Shizan.

This was awesome. Learnt more about the samurai culture through this workshop. Even got taught the dual wield technique which was a bonus. Highly recommend doing this.
