Halloween 2024 in Montreal! A professional comedian and storyteller will delight guests with stories of ghosts, mysteries and legends concerning Mount Royal and its haunted hospitals, abandoned castles, cemeteries teeming with spirits of the undead. Haunted Montreal aims to satisfy the amateur interested in local history, blood-curdling ghost stories and an unforgettable hike on the slopes of Mount Royal! Good walking shoes and a flashlight are highly recommended.

    Haunted Mount Royal is a themed hike on the mountain, all lit by lantern. Beginning in the Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood, the tour takes us to various haunted sites on the mountain, some where ghosts have actually been sighted in the past.

I’ve done almost all the haunted Montreal tours but this one was my favourite! The story telling is amazing and going up the mountain was like a workout but exciting because you are in the dark with a flashlight. It added to the spookiness! Whichever tour you do it will be fun! Plus you learn the history of Montreal. So if you love history and ghost stories this is for you! Definitely do this with some friends and family to make some great memories! Just fyi if you are doing any of the tours near the water in October wear a good coat because it can get quite cold especially with the wind and if doing the mountain tour in the summer bring bug repellent.

We went with Dominic and it was really fun! Learned a lot about my own city and part of its history. The guide was really nice with us we were always cared for as he wasn't going too fast and we even had a little extra. Definitely recommend the tour. It is a good walk so be ready.
