    Begin your journey at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter where you will be greeted by our guide and driver. Within 20 minutes, we will leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city as we wind our way towards the serene Red River bank. After a short walk over Long Bien bridge, we will reach the rugged island. We will have a 4WD adventure along the small off-roads of the green oasis with stunning views of banana plantations, fruit, vegetable, and flower farms. Along the way, we will visit local villages and communities where you can witness local farmers at work. Our journey through the Red River Countryside is enhanced by a home-visit to a local family where you can enjoy fresh fruits and green tea while learning about their daily lives.

    After experiencing the serenity of the countryside, it is time to explore and enjoy the hustle, and bustle of Hanoi’s backstreets. A must do tour to start your Vietnam trip!

PERFECT. Ryley our guide and Jonny the driver were amazing, they really looked after us. Ryley is so knowledgeable and the tour went at a steady pace. I reccomend going on this tour within your first few days in Vietnam - I've learnt so much about the culture, history and food. The lunch we had at a local home was so generous, small plates of spring rolls and appetizers with a big bowl of meatball soup and rice. We couldn't eat it all, despite trying! The chef is so friendly too. What an experience!!

Brilliant from start to finish! From the moment that Ryley and Jonny picked us up from the hotel, we were looked after and shown the sights, culture and history of rural Hanoi with Ryley's great energy and knowledge. To top it all off, the lunch (feast!) was delicious! We've seen a lot and learned even more, and it's all thanks to this tour and Ryley - thank you.

Great tour in old soviet jeep, took in loads of landmarks & included lunch & snacks. Our tour guide was Sim, loved her enthusiasm & ability to give loads of information about every day life in Hanoi as well as Vietnamese history. Great driver ZQ - fantastic driving skills!!!

We really loved this tour. Our guide Ryley and driver Quang we both excellent. Lunch was at a local restaurant with delicious traditional food and a very unique and fascinating decor. We visited some places that you would not expect on the edge of a busy city. All 6 in our group agreed this tour is a must.
