Enjoy with us and in full relaxation one of the most requested tours of Western Sicily. It starts with Monreale. Going up Monte Caputo, you arrive at the town that offers from its terraces unique panoramas over the Conca D'Oro, where the city of Palermo stands. You immediately come across the Duomo, one of the most beautiful testimonies of the Norman Arab style in Sicily. Inside you will be struck by the luminous majesty of the Byzantine-style Christ Pantocrator and the treasures kept on the upper floor. Not far from the Cathedral it is easy to reach the Cloister, it is the most complete Romanesque sculpture monument in Sicily. The next stop is Cefalù. Moving about 100 km, we reach the town on the sea. The narrow streets of the historic center, which offer at every angle glimpses of the sea, old houses, balconies full of Sicilian flowers and scents, will lead you to the main square where the Cathedral stands, another wonderful monument of Arab Norman style in Sicily.

Duomo Di Monreale

The Cathedral of Monreale is one of the most precious examples of Arab-Norman art, a UNESCO heritage site. Admission to the cathedral is free. You can admire the vastness, the harmony of the architectural elements and the splendor of the mosaics. The cloister, which is part of the same architectural complex, is rich in religious decorations from the Old and New Testaments.

Visit with us Cefalù! About 100 km from Palermo, we reach this seaside town, rich in history, beauty and culture. Arriving from the highway, an overview of the town on the sea and its Duomo will leave you breathless. The narrow streets, which offer at every angle glimpses of the sea, old houses and craft shops, will lead you to the main square where the imposing Cathedral is built, in the Arab Norman style, with the decorations with Byzantine mosaics of Christ Pantocrator inside.

The Monreale Cathedral mosaics were out of this world. Cefalu was fun and the beach was incredible. Wish I had had time for a swim.

My husband and I had a great time on this tour. Our driver, Mirko, was friendly and efficient so we made the most of our time. Monreale was beautiful and Cefalu was charming. We highly recommend this tour.
