Pyramids of Giza

Today you have the opportunity to see the Great Pyramids one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Visit and enjoy a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. your Egyptologist tour guide will guided you to see the King Khufu's chamber is located at the heart of the pyramid and is known as the "burial chamber", and it is believed that King Khufu (who ruled during the Fourth Dynasty c. 2589-2566 BC) was buried there. this room is made of pink granite,The ceiling is made of 5 huge stone layers to relieve pressure on the room. Inside it is a large stone sarcophagus carved from a single piece of granite, but it appears larger than the entrance to the room, indicating that it was inserted during the construction of the pyramid. Secret passages and small rooms above the main room have been discovered, which raised questions about the possibility of hidden chambers that have not yet been discovered.

The Sphinx is one of the most famous monuments in the world, located on the Giza Plateau in front of the pyramids. The face of the Sphinx is believed to represent King Khafre, and is meticulously carved into the limestone. As for the Sphinx's beard, there are original parts of it preserved in the British Museum, indicating that the statue had a symbolic royal beard. Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids

Saqqara is known in ancient Egyptian history as the true beginning of the era of pyramid builders. Here, your eyes will be opened to see the colorful tombs and the true connection between the soul of the deceased and his body in the afterlife. You will also see the first pyramid built in the history of Egypt. will visit Saqqara, which is the oldest royal tomb that took the form of a step pyramid dating back to 2400 BC Its owner is King Zoser or Djoser, the most famous founder of the 3rd Dynasty in Egypt. Your guide will take you to the oldest royal tombs and see the colorful drawings and offerings made by servants to the king. Do not forget to watch the sacrifice of cows, goats and wine painted on the walls of the tombs.

The Sphinx of Memphis

Then we move to visit the oldest capital in ancient Egypt which called Memphis, Memphis Museum and the giant statue of King Ramses II, which is located in the Memphis Museum, where you can see the statue, which is about 12 meters long and weighs 79 tons, and see the Egyptian creativity in carving the details of King Ramses II’s body and the huge Sphinx of Queen Hatshepsut.

Had an incredible tour today! From first thing we started at 8am until I was dropped off a little after 4pm, the tour was great. We did Saqqara, GEM and Pyramids. Lamia was a fantastic guide and was more than accommodating! Would highly recommend.

Mohamed is a talented and knowledgeable host and able to take us around the pyramids and explain in detail the history which was super insightful. He was also engaging and able to make things interesting and answer all questions. The planning of the visit was super easy, strong itinerary and flexible to changes when we needed it. We did the pyramids, local markets, Islamic tour of Cairo, Downtown Cairo and food tour- Koshery was a highlight for sure and this experience was amazing. I would highly recommend Mohamed and his company to anyone.
