Overview

A tour to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo either in the morning or in the afternoon to explore the fabulous treasures of ancient Egypt. On display are masterpieces of the ancient Egyptian civilization, with the highlight being the collection of King Tutankhamen (the golden mask, golden throne, and the golden coffin), the royal mummies of the Pharaohs, the animal mummies and the pyramids' builder's statues.

Delightfully pleasant family day out!

We were delighted by this trip. My wife and I, accompanied by 3 young children (10, 8 and 4 year olds) were picked up by our tour guide (Hosni) and the driver (Essam) promptly. They were absolutely wonderful. Friendly, warm and fabulous English. Extremely knowledgeable and adapted to our needs and children's attention span so flexibly. We were thoroughly well looked after, and they went out of their way to also take us to the papyrus and Egyptian jewellery production facility and shops at the end of this wonderful trip.

Henry Ayoub is a professional Egyptologist and was our guide at the Egyptian Museum. He is very well-informed and a skilled communicator. He helped us make sense of the vast collection there, which could be quite bewildering without help to understand it. Henry is also very personable and we enjoyed his company on our 4-hour tour. I would highly recommend his services.

This was an exceptional tour made extra special by our guide Mohamed Gomaa. He was an absolute expert on Egyptian history and was able to articulate all topics very clearly while providing additional context based on our questions and knowledge. He knew the museum layout and traffic flow very well and was able to provide an optimal experience. We left with a wealth of knowledge and a great understanding of Egyptian history.
