Overview

An evocative itinerary halfway between myth and reality, which will introduce you to the most obscure and fascinating side of the city: an expert guide will take you through silent hallways and desert squares, telling stories along the way and illustrating you the places that have been the scene of curious stories and unexplained events.

Alilaguna ticket office is located at San Marco Giardinetti vaporetto stop, in front of Illy Caffè next to the Royal Gardens. Please don't look for Alilaguna office on Google maps. Strictly requested to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure of the tour.

Very fun and unique experience

Such a fun and unique tour! The stories were great and our guide was very engaging and filled with passion! Would recommend to anyone looking for something a little different but still wanting to learn about Venice.

Better than great

A wonderful walking excursion through Venice. The “ghost stories” were well-researched and presented in a highly engaging manner. Our guide was better than great.

Fun evening - but, not spooky

I enjoyed the legends & stories. The trip was a nice length for evening. I do suggest tweaking the name, as I believe some people were looking for something more "spooky". Please be prepared that very rapid walking is needed to accommodate the anecdotes told (while standing still) and the distance covered from place to place. I am thankful that the narrative wasn't done while walking; as I am somewhat hard of hearing I wouldn't have been able to hear if the stories had been on the go. So much time & material was covered that I was surprised at the end to discover we had stayed within the timeline. And special thanks for the guide who verified that everyone knew how to get back where they were going from the end point. Nicely done, lovely guide.

Had a great time with the family. Our guide was really informative. She knew a lot about Venice. Not scary, lots of folklore stories, which are very interesting. Easy walk.

See the other side of Venice!

A lot of walking, but, totally worth it! After seeing all the "touristy" stuff, we went back at night to see the darker side , and it was incredible. Our guide really presented the scary backstory to such a historical city.
