You will also learn about our real life Vampire culture in New Orleans, see the shop where they buy their fangs, and learn some of their favorite haunts. This is no gimmick. These are real life people who live their lives as self proclaimed Vampires. Who are they? Why do they do what they do? What REALLY is a REAL Vampire? Best walking tour I have ever been on and it was primarily due to our guide, Katherine. Katherine was an excellent storyteller. She was so thoughtful, informative, unique, and kind. Truly made the tour special. Loved that we wrapped up the tour somewhere that food was available nearby. Starting in the bar was nice, it was easy to find & the staff were helpful! Little break in the middle of the tour for bathroom & fresh cold water was much appreciated. Katherine was concerned about all of us getting home safely that evening & gave us advice on how to do so! She truly is something special.

Don't let the ticket office decorations fool you!

When we arrived at ticket office, we were met and greeted outside by Bobby Thomas who turned out to be our guide. When we went inside to get our wristbands for the tour, the "haunted" decorations caused us have low expectations. Bobby quickly changed our minds. Bobby made this a very entertaining and educational experience. He gave great detail about every stop on the tour, taking great care to never be offensive. The back of his jacket said "Master Storyteller", and I think he was exactly that.

Mikey was a great guide! Very good mix of historical facts and folklore. It was a great way to see more of the city that we previously may not have noticed.

Kathryn was amazing! She has so much knowledge of the area she can make all the stories really come alive. We learned so much, and actually got chills from some of the stories she told. We can't recommend her enough!
