This was a beautiful day and very culturally rich tour. Our tour guide was Made Karyana. He messaged me the night before to confirm pick up. He was punctual and showed up early to meet us in the lobby of our hotel. He spoke English very well and was easy to understand. He answered all our questions and made the tour amazing. His vehicle was very comfortable and well air conditioned. Bottle water included. The first stop on our tour was the temple called Lempuyang. We arrived with our tour guide, we were dressed with sarongs and shawls, and were taken up to the top of the mountain by another smaller vehicle (2-3min ride up). Then we walked up a steep paved hill to the temple entrance. We were given a number and waited our turn in line to take our Instagram photo with the reflection. The whole process at this temple was well organized. There was plenty of shade while we waited and they streamline the process so each group gets to do 5 poses and they keep it moving so we did not wait too long. While we were waiting Made Karyana taught us a lot about the history of the temple, their religion, the maintenance of the temple, the trees/fruits that grow around there, and so much more. There are many stands selling snacks and souvenirs outside the temple. The view from the top is beautiful. After this we went to Tirta Gangga and it was absolutely stunning. The lush colors of the garden and the tranquility of the place are hard to put into words. Made Karyana taught us about the royal family, the language, and more about the garden. We had time so we ate at a beautiful restaurant in the garden that had a stunning view. Free wifi here. (Lunch not included) It was delicious, very flavorful and was a lovely afternoon. After this we stopped at a salt mining station. This process was so interesting! Our guide explained each step in the process for how they produce salt. We even tasted some. It was amazing. I wish I had this everyday to eat with my food. The taste is very light. Our last stop was another temple right by the ocean. This temple has a bat cave and we learned a lot about their ceremonies here. Our guide Made karyana was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helped us learn about the country, culture, and more. I would definitely recommend.

We had a very nice day with Nyoman. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a good balance of guiding/informing and space to enjoy and explore. I already knew ahead of time that the Gate of Heaven was going to be an instagram photoshoot and not so much a cultural experience, so we knew what to expect. We decided to just take our own pictures off to the side rather than waiting for our turn to take the famous picture. The best view is up the stairs opposite from the famous picture spot. You can see the whole landscape from up there. Absolutely beautiful.
Overall, it was something I would love to experience again.

The trip was informative. The driver (Nyoman) is so friendly. He makes us aware of why the temple is important to to the people of Bali. He is very knowledgeable. He shared insights but at the same time respected our differences. He made sure we are prepared of what to expect in each stop.

Moyo does it again! My only nitpick criticism, at no fault of Moyo and Putu, is that Lempuyong temple is in no way a 2 hour trip. To get the famous Heaven's gate photo, be ready for a 3-4 hour wait in line. Luckily, Moyo stuck with us the whole time so we got our photos and still managed to see another attraction before heading back to the hotel to beat rush hour. Great guide, great company, but the attraction could use some streamlining
