Explore the fortified city of Galle on two wheels (either on a traditional or Retro e-bike) 3–4-hour bike tour, led by a local guide. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, the Old Town of Galle and its fortifications were built by the Portuguese who arrived in the 16th century. Explore this administrative capital and fourth largest city of Sri Lanka as you pedal along a seaside path and view area attractions such as shipping warehouses, churches, temples, the clock tower and lighthouse. • Choice of a traditional bicycle or Retro electric bike • Explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Galle with a local guide • See key landmarks of the fortress built by European colonizers • Small-group tour (maximum 6 people): A more intimate experience

One of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. We really appreciated the chance to try local food and cinnamon tea, and seeing the market places outside Galle Fort.

Chameera is an absolute gentleman and excellent guide. Highly recommended

Booked directly rather than through trip advisor - why pay their commission! $40 for push bikes or $70 for very advanced e-bikes which were more like scooters. My wife was nervous enough about the traffic so elected for push bikes - which were perfectly adequate if a little old - didn’t matter. Chameera looked after us so well ensuring we were safe in the traffic - do need to negotiate 4.5k to the fort but it’s fine and safe with much on pavement or cycle zone. Fisherman interesting to see as was old port - sadly torrential rain cut tour short - and not helped by being late due to uber driver getting lost !! Chameera so thoughtful be even messaged to ask if we had got back to the hotel safely. Thank you

Bike tour is thorough, fun, insightful, comprehensive, varied. Good mix of historical, and contemporary stops. Never would I have known to go on my own to most of the places we went (and it would have been my loss!)
