A flavourful feast !

Such a wonderful and memorable experience . Choosing ingredients for the curries in the local market and then helping to prepare a flavourful feast with Madhu , her mother and her neighbour . We learnt so much about Sri Lankan curries and the preparation and ingredients that go into them . Each one of the thirteen dishes tasted delicious and it felt very special to be eating a meal in a lovely Sri Lankan home ! Thank you so much

We had the BEST night. Madhu and her family are fantastic. We learned a lot of recipes in her home setting (which is a gorgeous house in gorgeous grounds). And to top it off the food was incredible. The best we have had in Sri Lanka so far. I cannot recommend this class enough. Please do it. You will have a magical night.

Amazing! Mahdu introduced us to the absolute delight of Sri Lankan cooking. Every aspect of our morning went flawlessly. From efficient communication, tuk tuk transport, shopping at the Dutch and Fish markets to being welcomed so generously into Mahdu‘s beautiful home kitchen and the food……..so delicious!!!! Mahdu is an excellent teacher who patiently explained and demonstrated the recipes honed by atleast three generations of her family allowing plenty of opportunities for us to get hands on. Absolute highlight of our time in Sri Lanka.
