Overview

Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel In cooler waters, a wetsuit may also be worn. Use of this equipment allows the snorkeler to observe underwater attractions for extended periods with relatively little effort and to breathe while face-down at the surface.

A wonderful experience even for people who can't swim well

This was an amazing experience in a beautiful location. I was able to book and go with less than 24 hours notice. The staff were friendly and really experienced. I am not the strongest swimmer but they had flotation vests you can wear and you can also hold onto a floating ring that the instructor holds on a rope and will guide you through the water if you need help.. I felt very safe and the instructor checked regularly that I felt comfortable and happy in the water. We had more than an hour of swimming with the turtles and were able to see turtles and other reef fish close up. The instructor took photo s and videos of us wth his go pro camera and sent them to us afterwards which gave us nice memories to keep. Overall a wonderful experience at a very fair price. Highly recommended.

We went here within 24 hours of arriving in the south or Sri Lanka. We contacted Pathum via WhatsApp and he was clear and prompt. He picked us up (2 adults and a 6 year old) and we such a great time. He looked after my son and made him feel safe and he saw no less than 5 turtles. Such a great experience.

There were big waves due to the weather condition, but the instructor guided me safely, and managed to find the turtle. He also explained the conditions. You can ask for the safety gears especially if you’re not confident on swimming. He also sent me the beautiful photos and videos.

I was very nice to swim with the turtles and to realize how much careful the team is with them to make sure tourists don't harm them. The guide was great! It was a great experience :)

What an outstanding day! We had no idea we would see so many and so huge turtles but the manager told us professionally about the conditions. We fed the turtles with seaweed which is their natural food. We plucked it directly out of the sea and tossed it to the turtles. A few of us also hand fed the turtles under water. What an awesome way to get close to wild animals. We swam with the turtles for about an hour which felt like five minutes. I was so happy that I almost cried. The crew made me feel safe and handled everything in a good and respectful way.
