Chiguata

This fabulous excursion begins in the Historic Center of Arequipa at 6:00 am. The first stop is for breakfast in the town of Chiguata, a place where the landscape and the Inca terraces make the visit an unforgettable experience, we will also have breakfast in this place the price is approximately S/7.00. This includes the time we move from one place to another.

Then we will ascend to the viewpoint of the Pichu Pichu volcano, at 4,300 meters above sea level. From this point we will have another perspective of the Misti volcano and the city of Arequipa. Here we can see extraordinary fauna (vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and guanacos) and flora (yaretales, queñuales). The next stop is the salt flat and the Salinas water bodies. Depending on the season, we can observe flamingos and optical illusions caused by the water mirrors typical of this natural area. Here we are considering the return time to the city of Arequipa
