Overview

The two day Colca Canyon Trek is designed for people with some trekking experience. The first day is 6 hours of trekking both up and down hill, with a one hour break for lunch. The second day is 3 hours up hill. Hikers will wake up early the second day to begin the final 3 hour trek out of the canyon. - Explore the depths of the canyon - Enjoy meeting and being hosted by the locals - Relax in the Oasis, a paradise with natural fed pools - Complete a challenging and rewarding trek - Watch the majestic Condors fly overhead - Enjoy the hot springs in Yanque and Peruvian cuisine in Chivay

Great experience

I did the trek with tour guide Ghersay in Feb 25 and loved it. The views are epic, all the food was good and he made sure we had fun. It is quite difficult if you’re not used to hiking (like me), but if you’re up for a challenge definitely give it a go as it’s a lot more rewarding than a 1 day tour.

Great Tour in the Colca Valey with amazong viewds. Ghersey our guid was really amazing. He explained a lot and took good care of us. Breakfast was basic - lunch snd dinner was really nice.

All our trip to Arequipa and Colca canyon was perfectly organized by Peru baby llama travel agency. Senor Walter the tour guide is a friendly guide and very knowledgeble person. Wish we had more time...but even like this, 2 days in Arequipa and 2 days in Colca manage to cover the essentials. Many thanks for all your help.
