It was all very good, enjoyed lunch at Assos and wandering around Fiskardo. Elvira was brilliant in giving is information and history on the island and our locations. So pleased I didn't hire a car would have missed a lot of the stunning scenery.

Really great day trip on a comfortable coach with a superb driver and guide. Lucky it was October so no queuing for caves or lake visits. We definitely would not have wanted to drive to the locations visited as mountain roads and hair pin bends looked tricky - let’s leave it to these professionals! We thought 35€ was a reasonable price for this trip and we booked direct in their office in Lassi. We were staying in Argostoli and was picked up & dropped off by harbour.

What a great tour this is and made even better by Kathrine and Allan of KCG Travel. Katherine was informative and funny and if you are a nervous passenger on mountainous roads, Allan was the perfect driver. The tour itself was a great pace and wasn’t rushed in any way and the timings were perfect to beat the “cruise ships” to the attractions. ( minimal queuing times ). Melissani Lake was lovely, if a bit overrated… it is small and going early, misses the direct sun which shows up the lovely colours. Drogorati caves are worth the visit. The drive to Myrtos beach and onwards to Fiskardo are well worth the trip. Myrtos is beautiful and just like the photos. Fiskardo was a stopping point for lunch and is picture postcard perfect too, as was the return via Assos another, too beautiful small Greek costal villiage. This is a great trip and a must if you are having a short stay on the island. Excellent value for money at €35pp. We were lucky to be end of season, so crowds were minimal. Thanks Kath and Allan for a memorable trip and the potted Greek mythology lesson, told with fun and humour!

We’ve just come back from an amazing trip to Fiskado via some wonderful stop offs at Melassani lake and caves and lunch in Assos. The scenery was stunning taking in high altitudes and views over Myrtos beach and lots of the Island. Our driver Nicolas was very experienced and handled those dangerous roads so confidently and carefully. But the highlight of a fabulous day had to be ELVIRA our courier. She was Just amazing with stories and jokes and wonderful history lessons about Kefalonia from ancient to recent history. She was so knowledgeable and professional. She made a good trip a great trip and put her heart and soul into making it a great experience for us all. We would highly recommend her tour! She is an amazing guide and such an asset to the company! Thank you so much Elivira for so many lovely memories! Angela and Trevor (England) xx

First time to Kefalonia. Not sure about hiring a car so choose this tour. So glad we did got to see Fiskardo harbour. Wonderful lunch in beautiful Asos. Then to Melissani lake then Drogarati cave. Just right amount of time at each never felt rushed but also fitted so much in. I’m not the best traveler but Elvira our tour host was so knowledgeable and super friendly she told us so many story’s and history of island on the bus so travel time seemed very short. Learnt about Greek mythology and local legends. We were reassured and felt safe with our driver John on those hair pin bends down the mountains dodging the goats. Would definitely recommend KCG travel tours.
