Overview

i am Benedetta from @my.bologna! I will bring you to the typical and local food markets. We will go shopping in the best food shops of Bologna, where usually locals go. We will taste local salumi, local cheese and home-made pasta, and local wine of course! We will go also to a special ancient indoor market, where you can buy specialities of the town to bring home! I will suggest you what to but and how to cook it. We Will also have amazing gelato! You will enjoy the special atmosphere that makes the district so special, lively and energetic while learning more about things you can’t miss when visiting Bologna.     We will visit also the ancient Medieval Market of the town, having stops to buy traditional food (parmesan, prosciutto, mortadella, balsamic...anything else you would buy!) and having some stops to try typical bolognese food and local amazing wine!

This was an outstanding tour Ben is an excellent guide. It focuses mainly on food but the attendee buys how much of what you want to try. It worked really well. I highly recommend.

This was a great tour and we had an excellent time with the group. Everything we tasted was super fresh and delicious. This is an awesome way to get yourself oriented around Bologna to sample local specialties. I really enjoyed the variety of food while also learning about the origins and history of each unique item.

Ben was the perfect guide. We visited a food market, then a shopping market across short distance away. Really interesting and we appreciated the history. Were not aware that we would need to purchase food (probably didn’t read the description carefully) but this wasn’t an inconvenience. I would totally be interested in a longer tour with her.
