    The tour guide will give you information of the following from the outside. Chronologically, it is the first great basilica in Florence, and is the city's principal Dominican church. The facade of Santa Maria Novella, has been completed by Leon Battista Alberti in 1470

    Piazza della Repubblica, Republic Square, is a city square. It was originally the site of the city's forum, then of its old ghetto, which was swept away during the improvement works, or Risanamento, initiated during the brief period when Florence was the capital of a reunited Italy.

    Piazza della Signoria is a w-shaped square in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy. It was named after the Palazzo della Signoria, also called Palazzo Vecchio. It is the main point of the origin and history of the Florentine Republic and still maintains its reputation as the political focus of the city. It is the meeting place of Florentines as well as numerous tourists, located near Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza del Duomo and gateway to the Uffizi Gallery.

    The Ponte Vecchio is a medieval stone arch bridge over the Arno. The only bridge in Florence spared from destruction during World War II, it is noted for the shops built along it; building shops on such bridges was once a common practice. Butchers, tanners, and farmers initially occupied the shops; the present tenants are jewellers, art dealers, and souvenir sellers

Amaizing tour in Floreance during my solo trip in Italy. As it was private I had the opportunity to ask all the questions I wanted to my guide. She inspired me and made me passionate about Italian art. I loved how she explained the things very clearly and easy to understand. Certainly not my last time in Florence.

My husband and I enjoyed this tour so much, I fell in love with this city. Also my kids had a lot of fun. The guide was entertaining and friendly, she explained the things really easily for us to understand and she was also good at speaking English. I suggest this tour if you want to have a great experience with your family and want to explore the city of Florence.

I was visiting Florence with two friends, the guide, Michele, was very knowledgeable and did his best to adjust the pace and the info to us, customizing the walking tour that included all the most important monuments, giving also very good suggestions for shopping and for food.
