Overview

Experience the samurai experience in a museum-like place with lots of armor on display! You will choose your favorite kimono and hakama, change into a samurai costume, and learn how to use a sword from a samurai. You will learn how to draw a sword, hold a sword, swing a sword, and retract a sword. After learning basic sword usage, they practice a simple chambara (sword fight). Then we will try to exterminate bad guys to the music! You can take videos with your smart phone, take pictures with the samurai, and have a great samurai time. The teachers are authentic teachers who have appeared in major Japanese dramas and movies. Since you have come all the way to Japan on a trip, you will have a wonderful experience of Samurai culture! The dojo has many weapons on display, including swords and spears. You will also find armor on display. Samurais are waiting for you in a space that does not seem modern. ・One person can also join the tour. ・Same-day reservations are also possible.

This program allows visitors to experience the ancient samurai culture of Japan. This place is designed to look like a dojo from the Edo period (400 years ago). will wear a kimono and hakama, learn how to use a Japanese sword, and perform Participants a battle. so much fun and the time goes by too quickly. very engaging class with a great instructor. wonderful staff in general, so kind and helpful. overall, a fantastic experience for the whole family! soooo much fun!!!!!

My favorite experience of Tokyo

The guy who ran it knew exactly what we were looking for. A cultural and learning experience that was not taken overly seriously and a lot of fun. At the end we did a fight scene to fun lighting and background music. Only con was that it was a bit hidden in a basement area that had a sketch entryway. You’ll be fine, go into the creepy looking basement :)

Awesome experience for kids and adults--both boys and girls. You get dressed up as samurai in beautiful in kimonos. They teach you some popular moves and you do simulation of all moves put together. Someone records and takes pics of you using your own devices. One of the highlights of the trip for my 7 year old son

Everyone visiting Japan should try this cultural experience. It was awesome!! The instructors were excellent trainers, thorough in explaining Samurai culture and fun! Our family will certainly do this again when we come back to Tokyo!
