    Prepare to be amazed on this private, child-centered 2,5-hour tour of the Vatican Museums, one of Italy’s most interesting destinations.

Sightseeing can be overwhelming for children when it involves waiting in boring lines to see places and artifacts they don’t understand. On this tour, your children are the center of activity. With privileged, reserved admission to historic sites, there is no boredom or fidgeting in long lines. You’ll be escorted through the Vatican Museums for the thrill of a lifetime. Children will engage in conversations about the fascinating history of Roman civilization. Through the works of Michelangelo, Raphael, da Vinci, Caravaggio, and a host of other artists, your family will become acquainted with what it was like to live in ancient times, as an artist, a parent, a child, or even an emperor or soldier.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
  • The tour is tailored for 6 + years old kids. Younger kids are welcome to join of course but keep in mind that they may be not fully engaged.
  • READ CAREFULLY: Because of the growing popularity of the current pope Francis and his intense activity in organising mass events in the Vatican some areas might get closed last minute without previous notice. This has already happened this year and can happen again during you Vatican tour: the Sistine chapel and/or the Basilica of Saint Peter might not be accessible. In case of such events our tour guide will provide you with a valuable alternative focusing the tour inside the Vatican museums.
  • The customer has to bring their own mask. FFP2 masks are required.

This was amazing!!!

This was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Tomaso, was amazing. He was so friendly and informative. He helped us navigate the crowds and we were able to bypass the lines. The Sistine Chapel is a must see. Tomaso was very knowledgeable and made our tour fun. We choose this tour because it was listed as family friendly. We were a family of 10 travelling with two children (3 & 4). It did not disappoint! Tomaso was patient and made sure we didn't miss anything.

We loved touring the Vatican! It was so amazing and overwhelming at times but our tour guide made it a wonderful experience for our family. Our boys stayed engaged from beginning to end. It is a busy place but we worth the crowds. The museums were a great way to ease into the day with things building from there. The Sistine Chapel was amazing and I was grateful that they don't allow photography because it forces you to take it in and not focus on taking pics (which won't do it justice anyway to why bother). Our guide gave the boys things to look for in the Chapel so that kept them busy. And St. Peter's Basilica was overwhelming in size and detail. Definitely something anyone going to Rome needs to do at least once.

An amazing experience but the crowds were insane

Our your guide Amber was knowledgeable, engaging, kind, and gracious. We were traveling with two children and my toddler had a meltdown in the the museum. She did all she can to make sure we had what we needed so the kids would be comfortable and engaged. The place was an absolute zoo and it was terribly hot…

Sarah was amazing. She engaged since the very beginning and during the whole tour, with my 9 & 6 year old boys. She was also very knowledgeable and considerate of their ages asking questions and teaching them history and fun facts as if they were playing. Thank you Sarah it was a wonderful experience for the whole family!
