    We will do introduction of the group and then talk a lot about the History of Lima, the Wall of Lima, Rimac district and the spanish invader Francisco Pizarro.

    We will pass by the Franciscan Monastery and Catacombs.

  • Casa de la Literatura Peruana

    Old Central Train Station, now Library and Cultural Space

    20 minutes

  • Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor)

    We will sit down and learn about the pre Inkas from Lima, Inkas times and spanish time.

  • Jiron de La Union

    Old famous street where rich spanish descendants (aristocracy) usted to live. Nowadays, it's super popular.

Unexpected and original

The tour was amazing!!! The catacombes were very surprising. I didn't expect such a basilica with that many details. Amaru has a unique style, muy original y muy friendly. After the tour I booked another tour with him for Barrenco.

History, food, fun and culture

We really enjoyed our day with Bruce! We managed to book our tour on a national protest day, and Bruce went the extra mile to make sure our tour went ahead, jumping in a taxi to join us. He’s super knowledgeable and good company, and after the tours took us to a great place to eat in an area of Lima that we would not have discovered without him.

Bruce is a very nice tour guide. He was very understanding when I arrive late because of traffic. I was able to meet the group. He is very natural, charming, knowledgeable and openminded in all senses. All the group was very happy with his performance on the tour. I will recommend him to all my friends. He personally gave me tips on how to take advantage of our days in the city for the LGBT community. Keep in touch!

An interesting and unique tour of Lima’s history. Bruce also offered options along the way (e.g., opportunities to go or not go into churches, recommending snacks, etc). He showed us a great place for Pisco sours afterwards as well. Would recommend!
