Itinerary

El Parque del Amor

We start our tour by picking up each traveler from their Hotel or Airbnb. First, you will visit one of the 50 most romantic parks in the world, located in the Miraflores neighborhood, known as the Parque del Amor, this park is a small and colorful refuge for couples in love. From here you have a magnificent view of the sea. It is inspired by Park Güell in Barcelona and has in the central part a sculpture called "El Beso" by the Peruvian sculptor Víctor Delfín.

Huaca Pucllana

Continuing with our tour, you will visit the Huaca Pucllana Archaeological Site in a panoramic way, a sacred site belonging to the Lima culture.

Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor)

Then we will visit the historic center of Lima and walk through its main squares, streets, churches and shreds of the ancient city of the Kings. Likewise, we will walk through the main square of Lima where our experienced guide will narrate the historical background of the old viceroyalty of Peru, we will appreciate the architectural monuments that surround the square, such as the cathedral of Lima, archiepiscopal palace, government palace. As soon as we finish our walk through the historic center, you will visit the chocomuseum, a museum store where it shows us the history of chocolate and cocoa in Peru, we can also taste its typical liquors and jams made from chocolate and cocoa.

Casa de la Literatura Peruana

Continuing our walk we will observe the old abandoned station today converted into the house of Peruvian Literature, we will also be able to appreciate artisan shops and we will give you time so you can buy Peruvian crafts, after that you will visit an old colonial house today converted into a small traditional bar and In this place we will learn how to prepare the flagship drink of Peru “El pisco Sour”.

Museo Convento San Francisco y Catacumbas

Lima city tour and Pisco Sour tastings

Great personalised tour of Lima with driver Victorino and English speaking guide Luis. I was able to personalised the tour to my preferences. I had done another tour yesterday so opted to see different attractions today. Well worth having a personalised tour and able to avoid large bus tours and queues.Guide, Luis very helpful and attentive and has great knowledge of Lima and Peru and its history

Roxanne was a great tour guide and told us many interesting tales about the history of Lima - and Peru overall. The tour mostly stays in the Miraflores and nearby areas, but is a great overview of Lima.

Experience Peru when short on time!

This was a good introduction to Lima especially if you're short on time. I pretty much just had a day before heading to Cusco. We went to some sites around the city to take pictures. The catacombs were a highlight because we got to go under the church and go where there weren't many crowds. The best part was the alcohol tasting because it's a good way to be introduced to several drinks around Peru and I'm not even a big drinker.

A lovely tour hearing about the history of Lima. Very personal and friendly. Very helpful in recommending places to visit and helping me buy souvenirs, postcards and stamps.
