    Start from your accommodation.

  • Mount Etna

    Along the trail that will take us up to 2000mt a.s.l., our guide will tell you about how the highest volcano in Europe was born, without leaving the aspects related to flora and fauna that characterize it. After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon. After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle. Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

6+ hr excursion to mt Etna at a fair price

Daniele was our driver/guide. Liked him. Safe driver in comfortable van; 6 of us on the tour Comprehensive excursion. Communications excellent as was the pace of the 6+ hr. excursion. We walked inside a lava cave, hiked on the snow capped volcano & saw up close the devastating force of lava flows. I’m 70 & loved it. I skipped the longer hike on the snow (too slippery even with hiking shoes). exploring the inside of the lava cave was a bit out of my comfort zone (but I did it). I’d recommend wearing sturdy garden gloves to crawl through parts of that lava cave. Maybe the tour operator should have some at hand for the older guests who must crawl to get through a very low lava rock ceiling. Not complaining, loved it, but the gloves would’ve been appreciated. Ended up with a few scratches on my palms. It’s fairly priced. It was a day of learning about Mt Etna. Highly recommended despite my observations. Do it.

K took my wife on an Etna Mountain tour as a special birthday gift, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience! Our guide was exceptional—natively from Sicily, he shared so much more than just the fascinating history of Mount Etna. He took us deeper into the heart of Sicilian culture, talking about local traditions, food, and the way of life on this beautiful island. His passion for his homeland really shone through, making the whole experience even more meaningful. The views from the mountain were breathtaking, and the knowledge shared made the journey truly enriching. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sicily!
